Ja. Die Baumhaus Lodges und Baumhaus Lofts verfügen über ein eigenes Bad mit Dusche und WC, eine Küche beziehungsweise Küchenzeile, Heizung, Klimatisierung, WLAN und eine eigene Terrasse oder einen Balkon.

Our treehouses on the Baltic Sea combine nature, tranquillity and modern design to create a unique retreat amongst the treetops.

Set amongst meadows, nature trails and an alder swamp forest, we’ve created modern treehouse lodges, spacious treehouse lofts and minimalist tiny houses – built sustainably, fitted out to a high standard and deliberately spaced well apart from one another.

Five to six metres above the ground, you can enjoy sweeping views, tranquillity and the feeling of having escaped the hustle and bustle of everyday life for a while.

Why our treehouses were designed this way.

Our treehouse lodges, treehouse lofts and tiny houses were born out of the idea of creating retreats that blend harmoniously into the landscape.

Where modern treehouses now stand amongst meadows, fruit trees and the Erlenbruch forest, there used to be a long-established farm with sweeping views across the rolling countryside of East Holstein.

From the very beginning, the aim was not to build as many houses as possible.

Rather, it was about fostering a sense of tranquillity.

More space.

More privacy.

More nature.

That is why all the tree houses were designed to focus on views, light and tranquillity.

Architecture that does not dominate – but becomes part of its surroundings.

Our treehouses combine the experience of nature with the comforts of modern holiday accommodation. Look forward to king-size beds, air conditioning and heating, a Samsung Frame TV, fast Wi-Fi, large panoramic windows and fully equipped kitchens with an induction hob, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Bed linen, towels and many practical touches are already provided – for a relaxing break at treetop height.

What makes our tree houses special

Our tree houses stand on stilts in the middle of a natural landscape. The surroundings are characterised by orchards, alder forest, an approx. 2 km long nature trail and wide fields - not a classic hotel, but a place with distance and tranquillity.

You are outside and protected at the same time.
Alone, as a couple or for a little time out together.

Our 25-hectare site is part of the "Bungsberg mit Vorland" nature reserve on the edge of the village of Wangels. The Bungsberg - the highest point in Schleswig-Holstein - is right on our doorstep and makes your experience in the tree house a real nature moment.

Many guests combine their overnight stay in a tree house with a day at the Baltic Sea or a walk through the nature reserve near the Bungsberg.

The Ostsee Baumhaushotel is located in the north of Germany on the Baltic Sea coast near the towns of Heiligenhafen, Fehmarn and Weissenhäuser Strand, slightly inland on the edge of the village of Wangels by an alder forest.

Our resort in nature - a place with a view

Surrounded by greenery, nestled in a small natural area between fruit trees, meadows, wild hedges, fields and the alder quarry: this is the location of our Baltic tree house hotel. The map shows you an overview of the entire site - from the small pond and the tree house spa to the farm shop, the Tiny Houses and the tree houses at treetop level. On the left of the picture is the approx. 2 km long private nature trail.

Here you will find plenty of space between the individual areas - for privacy, tranquillity and a real feeling of nature.
