Wangels, Schleswig-Holstein, November 2024 – In July 2025 , the Baltic Sea Treehouse Hotel will open its doors ; it is Germany’s northernmost treehouse hotel and also the first of its kind on the Baltic Sea coast and in Schleswig-Holstein.

The treehouse hotel is situated on a 25-hectare private estate and offers an unrivalled experience of nature and a holiday by the Baltic Sea. The long-established ‘Zur Linde’ inn in Wangels will be integrated into the new hotel concept, which combines modern elegance, sustainable tourism and a special closeness to nature. Under the motto ‘At one with nature, sustainable with a vision for the future’, 14 exclusive treehouses invite you to enjoy an unforgettable break – perfect for guests seeking relaxation and tranquillity.

Romantic glamping high up in the trees

The Ostsee Baumhaus Hotel comprises seven spacious treehouse lofts (61 m²) and seven cosy treehouse lodges ( 42 m²). Both types of accommodation are perfectly tailored to the needs of couples or small families: the lofts offer a spacious layout with an open-plan living area, whilst the lodges create an intimate, cosy atmosphere.
