Some places do not explain themselves.
They have an effect.
And they stay.

Our tree house hotel was born out of the desire to create a retreat where people can come to rest - far away from everyday life, close to nature. At the height of the treetops, with a wide view over fields and forests, space is created for time, silence and genuine relaxation.
Here the view changes: of the landscape, of the pace - and of what is really important.

We believe in reduction instead of abundance.
In quality that you can feel, not have to explain.
In architecture that is subordinate to the landscape and gives it space. The elevated design creates proximity to nature without interfering with it.

The Ostsee Baumhaushotel is not a place for events, entertainment or fast-paced experiences.
We believe in tranquillity, reduction and moments that don't need to be planned.

For us, sustainability is not an idea, but an attitude.
In the construction, in the materials, in our daily actions.
Behind this place are many decisions, time and patience - and the conviction that nature needs space to work.
Our tree houses were planned together with regional craftsmen and built within a radius of around 20 kilometres. Short distances, durable materials and a conscious use of resources are a matter of course for us.

Our tree houses are part of a modern tree house architecture - tree houses of the new generation. They stand on stilts, at treetop level, and open up a treehouse-like perspective with a wide view of nature. This creates a real tree house feeling: close to nature, gently swaying in the wind, falling asleep under the stars and being woken by the twittering of birds - consciously realised, sustainably built and usable all year round without harming nature.

For us, being a host means creating a setting in which people feel welcome. Unagitated, personal and with an eye for the essentials.
