EuroVelo 10, also known as the Baltic Sea Coast Cycle Route, is one of the most impressive cycle routes in Europe. The route leads around the Baltic Sea and connects the coasts of nine countries - including Germany, Poland, Denmark, Sweden and the Baltic States. With a total length of over 8,000 kilometres, EuroVelo 10 is a highlight for cyclists looking for adventure and scenic diversity.

In Germany, EuroVelo 10 runs along the Baltic Sea coast through Schleswig-Holstein and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The route offers wonderful views of the Baltic Sea, beautiful stretches of beach and numerous sights. Highlights include the island of Fehmarn, the Hanseatic cities of Lübeck, Wismar and Rostock and the Western Pomerania Bodden Landscape and Jasmund National Parks.

The Ostsee Baumhaushotel is an ideal starting point for day trips along EuroVelo 10. The nearby sections lead through the Bungsberg nature reserve, past charming coastal towns such as Heiligenhafen and the beaches of Hohwachter Bucht. Cyclists and nature enthusiasts can relax and enjoy the beauty of the Baltic Sea coast from here.
