Our Baltic Sea tree house hotel is unique because it combines nature, design and relaxation:

The name was chosen deliberately and combines location, concept and uniqueness:

• Baltic Sea: Our tree house hotel is only a few minutes away from the Baltic Sea coast - ideal for walks on the beach, excursions to Heiligenhafen, Hohwacht, Grömitz, Lübeck or Fehmarn.

• Tree house hotel: We are the first and most northerly tree house hotel in Germany. Our tree houses stand in the middle of nature on stilts between meadows, fruit trees, hedgerows and a small alder forest.

• Schleswig-Holstein: As a true project of the heart in northern Germany, we are deeply rooted in the region - with regional partners, sustainable construction methods and a natural area that is typical of Schleswig-Holstein.

Yes, our tree houses at the Ostsee Baumhaushotel are part of modern tree house architecture. They stand high on stilts, at the height of the treetops, with gentle swaying and a wide view of nature. They are not classic holiday homes, but are deliberately designed as tree house accommodation.
This creates a real tree house feeling: falling asleep under the stars, waking up in the morning to the sound of birdsong - with comfort, built sustainably and without harming the trees or nature. They combine comfort and the experience of nature - and can be used all year round.

Yes, the Baltic Sea tree house hotel is open all year round and the tree houses can be used for overnight stays all year round - air-conditioned, heated and perfectly insulated.
Whether it's a summer holiday by the Baltic Sea or a winter retreat in the forest, you can stay comfortably with us all year round - with panoramic windows and views of the greenery and vast fields.

Glamping is often centred around tents or temporary accommodation. The tree house hotel on the Baltic Sea offers permanently built tree houses at treetop level with permanent comfort. Our tree houses at the Ostsee Baumhaushotel are fully equipped and offer you:

• a king-size bed, the lofts have an additional queen-size bed

Our stays at the tree house hotel deliberately start from two nights. 🌿
This gives you enough time to experience the special atmosphere - from the sunset to the clear starry sky and a relaxed morning among the treetops. It also ensures more peace and quiet at the resort, as there are fewer arrivals and departures and you can enjoy nature even more undisturbed.

Check-in at the Ostsee Baumhaushotel is possible from 3 pm. Earlier check-in can be arranged subject to availability. Regular check-out is at 10 am, later check-out until 12 noon is also possible by arrangement.

Yes.
All our tree houses are fully heated and can be used all year round.

We use modern, energy-efficient heating technology so that it stays pleasantly warm even in autumn and winter. The temperature can be individually regulated in the tree house.

Our breakfast basket is lovingly put together - sustainable, regional, vegetarian as standard.

In each tree house you will find a high-quality capsule machine (Nespresso Delonghi) and a WMF kettle. So you can make your own fresh coffee or tea at any time - whether at sunrise on the terrace or as a cosy start to the day.

Coffee machine

Our tree houses are equipped with Nespresso capsule machines from De'Longhi. The machines are deliberately kept simple and reliable:

• Capsule coffee (Nespresso system)

• No milk frother

• No app or smart functions

This is how we ensure that the machines are easy to use and function reliably in everyday life.

Nespresso capsules are available on arrival.

We have deliberately designed our internet connection to be redundant and stable.
However, please note: Due to the natural location, short-term fluctuations can never be completely ruled out technically.

We love it when children discover nature - quietly marvelling, curious, wide-eyed. At the same time, the tree house hotel is a retreat for those seeking peace and quiet, couples and friends who want to switch off completely.
Therefore: Children are welcome if they fit in with this quiet atmosphere. Our spa area is for guests aged 16 and over and there are no special offers for children.

Our aim is for all guests - with or without children - to enjoy the special tranquillity of our place.

Yes, dogs are very welcome in selected tree houses at the Baltic Sea Tree House Hotel. On arrival, you will even receive a small dog pack as a welcome gift, including a dog cushion on request.
Please note: The spiral staircases to the tree houses are not suitable for dogs - we therefore recommend that you only bring dogs weighing up to 8 kg, as they have to be carried.
